“PMC Racing is looking to make it Back-to-Back wins at the Terrible 250 at Primm"
Parker, AZ – Heading into the 2nd round of the Best in the Desert Series at Primm, PMC Racing currently sits 3rd in points in the 8100 class after the season opener in Parker, Arizona. After a frustrating suspension failure 270 miles into the race, which moved Trent Beaver back to 3rd place for the event, Trent looks to continue his winning ways in Primm.
“Last year the Best in the Desert’s Terrible 250 at Primm was a great race for me. I bested my field by over 19 minutes, and I won’t settle for anything less this year,” stated a confident Trent Beaver. “The Primm area suits my driving style well. It has some very technical sections that I tend to excel at.”
Since Parker, the PMC Racing crew has been working hard at getting the truck ready after heavy rains damaged much of the wiring and electrical systems during the race. After a recent testing session it seems the team is ready to do battle in the Primm desert. PMC Racing drew 5th off the start line in the early pre-race draw. While they are disappointed that they are not first off the line, they realize starting in the back could be an advantage.
The Best in the Desert Terrible 250 race is a lot different than the majority of the other desert racing events throughout the year. It is broken down into two heats: a morning race featuring many of the limited race vehicles, and an afternoon race featuring the unlimited trucks and buggies. This format may help the team’s draw position, as there won’t be nearly as much dust, especially when dealing with the early morning sun.
As PMC Racing continues their 2009 racing campaign, they look to be back at full strength in later events this season fielding both their #15 Ford F-150 Trophy Truck as well as their #8105 Ford Stock Full. PMC Racing would like to thank their current sponsors: Parker Motor Company, Ford Trucks, KC HiLites, Goodyear Tires, Ringers Gloves, Reily’s Race Wire, MSD Ignition, Racer X, and JTDezert Photo.
